The Vampire Diaries is a TV show that features an American supernatural–fantasy horror series that is developed by Kevin Williamson, based on a famous book by L. J. Smith.
The Vampire Diaries follows a story about Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev),who fell in love with a vampire named Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). Later on the story,Miss Gilbert will be torn between two lovers - involving Stefan's older brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder).
Furthermore, The Vampire Diaries also tackles the lives of Elena Gilbert and the people around her in a fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.
The The Vampire Diaries has two seasons, 1 and 2, where the first 1 got premiered on The CW Television Network on September 10, 2009. Its 2nd season got renewed sometime in February 2010. It premiered on the 9th of September this year.
